The traditional dental implants require multiple visits to your dentist and it will take place in several months. The original dental implant was designed in such a way that the patient would have to have a bone graph done to hold the implant. This entire process could take up to one year and even after the completion of the process there is no certainty that the implant will hold to the jaw bone. This is after all can be quite costly, painful and disappointing. Not to mention that throughout this process a patient is left without a tooth. Cosmetically, this can be an issue for most patients.
